In celebration of Elizabeth Gilbert's memoir hitting the big screen this month, I invite you to indulge in Eat, Pray, Love. "A memoir of self-discovery, Eat, Pray, Love is about what can happen when you claim responsibility for your own contentment. It is also about the adventures that can transpire when a woman stops trying to live in imitation of society's ideals. This is a story certain to touch anyone who has ever woken up to the unrelenting need for change."

Changes on the horizon

Friday, August 13th, 2010

Hey folks,

I have some good news and some bad news. Which should we start with first? We’ll start with the bad news because it’s always better to take the blow first and enjoy the good news that comes along second. Here we go. This site has become way to large for me to handle; simple as that. I think the problem is that I’m trying to cover way too many bases with the “Fiction to Film” idea. With that said, Fiction to Film will be changing it’s point of view AND site name. Don’t freak out. I am not yet sure of the new site name, but I will be directing the site to focus on the fantasy genre of books to film. It is just way too much work trying to keep the site updated when a new fiction to film pops up virtually every minute of every hour.

So, with that said, the site will be undergoing a new, more professional looking revamp. I hope everybody understands. Thanks for all your support!

Love,
Claire x

Hello everyone! My name is Jasmine, I’m 16 years old and I love to read. I am a big fan of YA books and getting to see them transform into films.  Claire was so sweet to add me as a staff member to the site! I’m looking forward to posting here and helping out.

Happy 1st Birthday, Fiction to Film!

Hi everyone! It’s great to be back! Some great developments while I’ve been away…Fiction to Film has been chosen as Across the Stars’ Featured Site for the month of June. You can view our shiny new award below. Nice, eh? Thanks to ATS for this great honor!

Also, just a reminder: you still have time to enter to win a copy of the media tie-in version of Eclipse. All you have to do is “Like” our Facebook page and I’ll randomly pick 3 lucky winners! If you see your name posted tomorrow, please contact me with your mailing address. In addition, a cyber hug to those who have joined our page already. Having 43 folks like and appreciate the site makes me feel like Christmas morning! So again, THANK YOU for your support! You guys rock my socks! :)
